- Drink water instead of sugary drinks like soda, coffee drinks, energy drinks, sweetened teas, etc.
- Switch to whole grain products such as whole wheat bread instead of white bread or brown rice instead of white rice
- Reduce the amount of salt (sodium) in your diet
- Reduce your portion sizes and eat less

- Take small, easy steps to reduce your weight
- Make a plan to reduce your weight to a healthy range
