Get Active

  • Find simple ways to be more active during the day
  • Get at least 30 minutes of physical activity daily
  • Schedule time to exercise as you would any other appointment

Eat Healthy

  • Eat more fruits and vegetables – aim for half your plate
  • Drink water instead of sugary drinks like soda, coffee drinks, energy drinks, sweetened teas, etc.
  • Switch to whole grain products such as whole wheat bread instead of white bread or brown rice instead of white rice
  • Reduce the amount of salt (sodium) in your diet
  • Reduce your portion sizes and eat less
